I too have a 1962 TR6SS. It is apart at the moment, but I look forward to making it look like it did when new...or very close. Thanks for the inspiration.

Now, that's a motorcycle. They could have made them just like that for many years and sold the beans outta them.

Perhaps we can talk Geoff Patrick into posting the '62 TR6 his dad built years ago. That bike, IMHO, took Triumph restoring in the SoCal are to a whole new level at the time. It is painted the next year's purple color. I've been meaning to ask him how it came to pass that it was painted the next year's color.....? It also has the two-into-one exhaust that was spec'd that year.
