Any idea where the VIN number is? How do you identify year and model?

Mid 50's Indian Fire Arrow.

I would scrape off all the grunge beside the oil filler and in front of the cylinder base, and see what appears.

There should also be a tag on the magneto with a date code that might put you in the neighborhood of what year.

Thank you! I believe I have more components also; Frames, toolbox, tank, fenders, etc. Appears date is 1957? damaged tag in magneto.

The tag might be a clue, but magnetos can be changed. Engine serial number is important, and the frame serial number stamped into the left side of the headstock. Not the raised casting number on the right side.

J in KC is your expert on the model, and pictures of the rest of the heap would be great.

The Royal Enfield Owners Club in England should have records and/or similar bikes to compare to. I tipped off Graham from the REOC and hope he comes along soon. The more serial numbers and photos you have, the better. There is a concurrent thread here for some bikes or partial bikes in Finland.

Older style of frame, generally 1955 or earlier. Out of my league; better wait for Graham.
