Grandpaul……..I have to ask. In the history of man and taxes…..has there ever been a time when common folks didn’t think their taxes were being wasted??? Can’t help but think that bushel of corn to feed armies invading other countries was probably looked down upon by the common folk.
Just saying…….I’m one of those folks that believes nothing really changes….we just get different toys/tools to play with.
Maybe "nothing ever changes", except that it has gotten logarithmically worse in the last 3 or 4 presidential cycles (BOTH faces of the entrenched 2-party mob). The country's debt is on a major uphill trend from which I see no way of returning to sanity without going to war with China & Russia, beating them overwhelmingly, and cancelling all debt and trade with them for at least a decade or two.
