Just taken delivery of the new book by David D of this place, Building a Competition Vincent Single Cylinder - Racing a 1950 Vincent Grey Flash.
I am surprised that no-one else has already posted something about this book.

Although written about Vincents a huge amount of it is applicable to preparation of a reliable mount of any manufacture

From my initial 3 hour scan, what a quality piece of work it is too. Tons of factual advice backed up with quality images and references, all based on practical experience rather than theory.
This is surely the 'go to' 'must read' for anyone even thinking about preping a Vin (or anything else) for fast use.
Not cheap to the UK (caused by the cost of reliable shipping), but then quality never is.

PS David does not pay me for writing this - I gladly bought the book!
