Bought a 1-inch and 2-inch Brown and Sharp digital micrometers from an estate sale of a shop teacher. They look like new and came with their plastic cases and were cheap. They were not working and I assumed they just needed fresh batteries. With fresh batteries, they will not work and show no sign of life. I cleaned the battery contacts even though they looked pristine.

Does anyone have any experience waking these up? While I found instruction online they are of no help and could not find any other useful information.

Thanks!

I hope you get it figured out. None of my micrometers use batteries. I'm still counting lines and adding. grin
