Today I drove about 50 miles north into NYS and bought some good Triumph pre unit parts (a gas tank, three wheels etc etc) -- a good deal.
The seller also has a pre unit chopper for sale.
Now choppers are not my cup of tea but I promised to post a couple of photos for him.
So here they are!
Engine is a 1953 T100-- claimed to be fully rebuilt.
Location--about 50 miles north of NYC.
He is asking $4500 but realizes that that price is a bit over the top.

The good thing about this bike is that it can be easily brought back to stock and is also very cool as it is in its current configuration.

Paul, you are correct. This is a T100 engine and highly sought after for the all-aluminum top-end. These engines make good power. Also, this price isn't much more than what I paid for my 1954 T100 engine in a 1947 frame supposed ex-flat track turned bar display bike back in early 2005!!
