Hi, I recently purchased a 59 Triumph T100 pre unit. I don't have alot of info on the history of the bike and have only just found an online service manual. I have a question that I was hoping someone can help me with - when I put the bike on its centre stand the front brake locks on. Is this normal for these bikes or do I need to get a longer front brake cable?

No worries, that’s the usual type of reply from Thrasher. Nothing out of character right there as if you are a target for the whole group here. He is colorful character once you get to know him well…And may I add highly intelligent as you can tell.

Forks at full extension engage the brake? Doesn’t sound normal to me, I’d be looking for a proper cable.
