Hi all,

Has anyone used these 'MagnaClamps' and stainless steel braided hoses on their oil feed and return pipes?

They look quite neat and it would be good to get some feedback on them, or recommendations for alternatives in the UK.

Thanks, Kev E

With the steel braided lines under the bike, they get oil and road crud build-up on them that is difficult to keep clean. The crud gets between all of the braid wires and takes a toothbrush or similar to clean it.

Uncoated braided stainless hose acts like a hacksaw blade with a vibrating engine on anything it touches, so either use coated hose or route very carefully. The clamps work well and give a neat look to the cut ends of the pipe.

These are what I have started using. They grip really well and form a good seal.

The oil filter setup is the Mk1 version, I will remake the bracketry now that I know it all fits.
