so, i get my, new to me, 66 spitfire Mk2. first issue, the seat is just held in place by gravity and the weight of mt arse - no hardware. looking at the parts manual, i see (two each) #64-6054 bolt (5/16-26x1-1/16"), #24-8784 (lock) washer (5/16x5/8x.040") and #41-4036 spacers or "distance piece." have no problem getting the bolt and washer, but it looks like i'll have to fab the spacers. so, can anyone provide the dimensional data for the spacers, especially the length. i'm assuming the I.D. will fit the 5/16" bolt and the O.D. probably around 5/8" but need the length.

second, where does the lockwasher go - between the seat pan and the spacer, or under the head of the bolt, or ??? thanks for any help.

The spacer length (height) is 17/32" and the diameter is 3/4". The lock washer goes at the bolt head.
