I realize this a WTB, but if you need a doctor, go to a specialist. I'm looking for a right-hand side cover for '65-'66 or '66-'67 Hornet, in Sapphire (Nutley) Blue (color code 88)...original BSA glass-fibre in blue gel-coat (not paint), in excellent condition or NOS.....no re-pop. Needed for a Blue-glass Hornet. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

In the '66 factory production books, there are 235 entries that are labeled as blue Hornets. Since the Wasp was not selling, the factory had an excess supply of blue tanks and side covers. As a result they used some of them up on Hornets.

Interesting request. I'm in need of an original left side '66 blue side cover. I also have an original blue Hornet tank.
