The change from inch to metric timing side bearings happened in 71. On 650's.

A change in bearing clearance for 750's happened around 76.

I take issue with your initial response because I (and others) have a lot of time invested in helping Fernando have a successful outcome with his T140. You spouting nonsense will do nothing to achieve that end.
