Is there a supplier of A65 aftermarket seats that makes a seat with the metal chrome/stainless strip on either side? The only ones I see available now have plastic trim. Any advice appreciated or even experience with the plastic trimmed seats, if metal is no longer available.

Thanks

Try https://www.rk-leighton.co.uk/bsa/

The photo shows the stainless trim on the A65 and on the B25/B44 but check first, they may have a distributor in Aus but also do direct. They supply the UK National Motorcycle Museum and have a good reputation.

Thanks Kommando,

I have emailed them so hopefully I will know soon if they do a metal strip.

Cheers.

I had that same issue some time back on a repop seat, and was able to find some OEM used parts and mounted them. It was difficult to make them conform to the repop seat base contour, and look good with the repop seat plastic trim holes in the black cover. Came out “acceptable”.
