Yesterday I met my brother at “Classic Motorcycle Day” in Mt. Airy MD. The weather was fantastic, and there were lots of gorgeous British bikes on display. My A10 Super Rocket “bobber” got an honorable mention in the custom class, which didn’t surprise me as there were some awesome modified bikes there…
Here’s a few examples.

That was a fun event the two times I made it back 20+ years ago.

Then they moved to the same week as the Three State Mountain Ride and I haven't been able to make it since. Maybe they'll shift it a week someday.

That's the event where for the very first time, I met in person someone that I had only known on the Internet, our own Dennis Brown, may he R.I.P.....

I went to the first one (called “British Motorcycle Day”) back in the mid eighties, and a few after that. Moved to the eastern shore of Maryland, and stopped going. Picked up the “hot rod habit” and started doing “Cruisin’ Ocean City” that fell on the same weekend. I recently got rid of my last hot rod and acquired my old BSA back, found this meet on line, and decided to give it a go…
