I've been thinking about this project, and collecting parts for some wee while now. Time for some action !
Something to bear in mind though is that the market for these old Enfields is not really flush with funds,
so this perforce has to be a bit of a budget resto - price no object does NOT apply !!
You can still buy a NEW Bullet for not a vast outlay of funds, so these old bangers need to be priced suitably ?
This project started with a spare engine sitting under the bench.Spare top end on it, hence the grey & rusty look.
Tappet cover is wrapped in heavy tape, to allow sandblasting.

A frame & bits came to me as a bonus with another Enfield project.
Tank, headlamp and engine plates are borrowed.
Maroon colour is (considerably) red enhanced by silver negative film.
