Hello all,

I've been refreshing my '66 Lightning and wanted to know if anyone knows a source for *quality* rubber instrument grommets/surrounds for the tach and speedo?

The two reproduction sets I've ordered are crap, with flimsy thin rubber that tears nears the edges and poorly grasps the bezels as compared to the originals.

Thanks for any suggestions offered.

Have just rebuilt these (below) and am not satisfied . . .

Jason

Vintage British Cables. They do full rebuilds, too.

I was looking at them for repairs. Some of the local people near me can be hit or miss. VBS do excellent quality cables and I would think their rebuild quality is also as good. Their prices seem quite good too.

It states (at least for magnetics) that they are on an exchange basis.

Thanks for recos. I dug around their site and found a contact email. Will enquire.

Thanks,
