To the gentleman Mike B caretaker of the jig who took over from buckshot1. I am new to britbike, not good with any of these platforms. tried to pm you but ? I’m clueless if I sent it successfully or not. 72 TR6RV, will be doing the motor this fall and even if I stick with the leaf spring I sure want to drill the trans case while it’s apart. Please reach out. I am at basic free membership, do I need at least premium sub to pm send or receive? Help!

Hey Mike, not sure about lead time. I am looking at early winter before bike goes to shop. So before it does I will remove motor, pull trans gears and drill and tap. Then bring bike and motor to my guy. I read where there are 2 types of plungers, one better than other? Also any input on the proper bolt, washer to plug it till reinstall? I guess I need a premium membership at the least to properly use this site. Thank you, Mike Morra Johnston RI.

For a 72, you'll want the later type pieces. Parts from a 1970 are appropriate.
The kit is in and out, there is seldom a long wait for it as people have been good at getting it back to me promptly. When you're ready we'll get you fixed up.

Thanks, much appreciated , only thing I do not understand viewing Mike Austin’s description and pics is how to determine, adjust reamer collar to prevent plunder body from bottoming out. seems if you get this wrong plunger tip elevation will be to high or to low to function. So it seems critical?
