Today I put the OEM lifter assembly back in, adjusted as needed, and moved on. This bike has been using the same lifter and it has been fine.
My waste of time to pursue the new parts.

Timing cams/valves is next and in progress.

Tested the starter to turn engine, laid Rap on left side and filled the oil filter and crank, chkd my rejected in 2015 BTH for spark, verified all electric are working, all oils as needed, chkd all Fasteners again, brakes adjusted, chain adjusted, ground Hills stand stop to allow more over center, checked tire pressure at 28psi, tested kick starter,

Need to roll outside, add gas, and kick start.

Your bike looks lovely! Be mindful of that rear number plate. It will soon fracture near the mounting screws. Try to figure out a way of damping vibration on the number plate without drilling any more holes; maybe a little strategic adhesive under the plate.Important also that the rear stand mounting bolts, F69, are fairly snug, as the Thackeray washers aid in reducing vibration as do the smaller Thackeray washers on the number plate "holder" PR27 and the mudguard hinge tommy bar. Good luck with the start-up.
