Guy bought a '75 Commando still in the crate. Knows nothing about Nortons or even British bikes.

This last summer at the (BSAOCNE) 36th annual British Meet, a guy from boston south shore brought a MK3 in an unopened ? crate. He put it in the Norton show line. Did not win a prize. Nice guy... not ignorant about NHT. smile

My 5 mile MK3 sitting in my office behind me has never run since the factory test 5 mile ride.
However, it has been taken apart somewhat to share what "IS" factory original. It has mostly been re assembled and will eventually be offered for sale.
I have 3 others and don't need this one...

That's an amazing find for sure. I started watching the video and then muted the audio (I couldn't take it anymore). It was much more enjoyable.

Let's hope it ends up with an owner that doesn't ride it without a front brake and doesn't want to swap it for a Honda Rune.

Someone had posted it under another heading too.
I reiterate " no knowledge of British bikes and cringe inducing Beardo antics along with a really nice bike"

That probably disqualifies Jay Leno. (Beardo's target trade partner.)

And anyway, why would he want it? Jay has been known to show up for the local BSA club rides on finery like one of his Brough Superiors.
