There is also a $5 per night parking fee next to my pop up.

Sounds pricy but……parking next to my bikes makes yours look so much better….it’s worth the extra cost.

You gota speak up though…….there are only two available spots. Triumph owners usually grab them both…..because they need all the help they can get.

Gordon, I think I might have to be offended by that remark! In fact, I'm so offended that I think I'll bring a fine teutonic conveyance instead of a masterpiece of British manufacture!

Or maybe a far eastern mass transit device. After all,you do meet the nicest people on a Honda!

Will a 40 mph trail bike keep up with Windy?

Marlin……you’ve been offended before my friend help Greg’s Triumph is one of my favorites….,,that “blacked out” one you had way back when was a close second......this one

[Linked Image]

Long distance award (to our events) still goes to Norton…but BSA has to be second.

You know better than most…….it’s all in good fun.

IF it’s British it’s good……if it’s got two wheels (or three) it’s still going to be okay.

That 40mph bike can keep up with Windy……as long as he’s on foot!

I “could” be a Robot.

I can’t help but think of you two……on the outfit or years later on the Enfield. When I hear from folks that are worried about doing 100 miles on a bike they’ve spent thousands of dollars on making it look the part….but are afraid to actually use it.

PLUS…….I REALLY like these two photos…..BSAing ya

I will say this, at least my BSA never left me stranded, but I never rode it more than 50 miles from my house. I did have a T120 break a chain once, PO had used two master links, as pictured in the WSM.
The I'm fcked award goes to a BMW with a broken drive shaft at 38K miles!
Though I did get stuck the first time I came to this event, outside of Damascus when the rear axle nut came off my Bonneville. That never happened before, or since. I left the campground maybe five minutes after the group left. I should have been on the normal route but a deer incident meant that the chase truck never passed.
I'll bring that same bike this year. I retighten the axle nut before every ride and carry a spare in my jacket.

Keep your head up and your stick on the ice.

David if I remember correctly……..Mr Ben had the rear axle nut come loose and get lost off his Triumph on the ride one year…..I “think” Bryan was riding the bike that year??

We didn’t notice it until the last gas stop……could be a Triumph thing?

and…….I “could” be a robot

FREELANCE !! that is pronounced F#@KED .... As in no paid insurance, retirement , sick days or vacation. The upside is that anytime I feel the desire to hangout with friends or vacation I can just not book any work. That is provided that I have been already working enough to have enough money to take off and not so much work that I cant take the time away from a particular client or lose them altogether. Its a balancing act... But I guess life in general is a balancing act.

Could be a Norton thing too. I think it was 2018, Lannis discovered (Saturday afternoon/Sunday morning?)that he had been riding his bike for unknown miles with a nut missing off the bottom shock bolt on the right side....
