In the late 1980's I built a bike that I would like to locate - to see if it still exists.

This is in the UK, the picture is below, basically it is a Triumph T25SS with a unit 500 engine, I do not have the registration number.

I sold it to a bloke who said he was buying it on behalf of a member of The Meteors - an English psychobilly band of the 1980's, that's pretty much all the information I have.

All help gratefully received.

That is a cool bike! Good thing it has the later conical rear hub, I think a 500 would overpower the early 250 rear wheel.

Hope you find it!

Thanks, probably bit of a long shot, but you've got to try :-)

The wheels and conical hubs are standard on the SS.

Assuming my memory is not playing silly buggers the person who bought it said it was for someone who was something to do with the Meteors

I've had a quick look and it is possible that it is the right band, I'll have a better look tomorrow

If it's anything like the rebuilt bands I've dealt with the only surviving member is the drummer.

So true, my brief look at the website suggests it is probably the right band.

Later today I will message the band through FB and see what they say :-)

The guy in the Meteors still has it - he answered my message on FB.
