Dear Folks, I have had good results with Mikuni carbs on other British gaspers. Has anyone got settings for a VM30 on a Venom? Another question, is there enough room to fit any sort of air cleaner? The existing Monobloc looks very cramped.

I have a 30mm Mikuni from Sudco on my Venom. I don't remember the needle #, the pilot jet is 35, I'm using a 400 mj, needle in the richest position. Might go to a 410 in colder weather. Not enough room for an air cleaner, oil tank is in the way. i put over 2000 miles on this bike after the Mikuni conversion. Runs, idles good. Starts easily (I do have an electric starter on it.)

The needle is a 5L1 and the slide is a 3.5, did not pull the atomizer. This was a kit for a Venom, ordered from Sudco in CA, USA
