Here are some parts missing the first cut of my cleanup. I'm filling up a tote. I'll post this stuff here before I run it by the local hoarder. If anyone wants a box of this crap, my fee for packing and shipping is $25. Of course, you may also come and get them for free. Send me a PM if interested. Small box only. You pay shipping. No electronic transfer of funds. AMAL slides are 928, three 3's and a 3-1/2 I think. Lightly used. I don't recognize the other slide. It does have a p/n. AMAL bowls are filthy or corroded but I suspect useable. I have more bowls that are in better condition, which will almost surely miss the next cut. I like to use the bowls without the drain. My friend has a vapor blaster and I'll get him to blast some stuff for me for all this scrap I'm giving him. All Trident gantry racks are broken at the cable attachment. I don't know why this happens so often. I have never broken one. I could fix these, but, and I can't emphasize this enough, I don't want to. The rest is pure junk in my opinion. I suspect we'll toss most in the dumpster or on his scrap trailer. I don't want to pack those alternators. More to come. Better parts. Same procedure. Post photos here then give to my hoarder friend. There will be a short time between those events. In fact, I'm going by there tomorrow. He's trying to reduce his pile as well, and I'm not sure he'll be too interested in Trident parts. He certainly isn't going to pay for anything. He knows his motorcycles. But he'll take it for free. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18766/filename/DSC00656.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18767/filename/DSC00657.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18768/filename/DSC00659.JPG)

I would like to take all of the alternator parts pictured, as well as all of the carb parts.

I have had to rethink my postings of the parts I am going to list here. I am posting many of these parts to make them available to those on this forum before I give them to my hoarder friend. I am not all that interested in boxing up and shipping these parts. As the parts get larger, I can not pack and ship them. I am starting to run out of packing materials and I will not be obtaining more. And I am no longer getting free newsprint advertising in the mail to use as packing. I also don't really consider the $25 I was planning on charging to pack and ship a box worth the effort. This little bit of money isn't going to make the least bit of difference in my life. It won't cover a sub and a beer at the local sit down restaurant anymore. And after all, if I'm going to give it away, I might as well give it to my friend. Maybe he can make a buck off of it. And giving it to him requires zero effort on my part. I like that. So in order to eliminate the kneejerk hoarder response of "I'll take ALL of it for $25!", I have decided I need to put a price on each and every part. Eventually I'll get to parts that actually may have some value. All shipping and payment rules still apply. You may also come to my house to get a lot of these for free. But I won't be holding on to them long. More to come. Next batch leaving: Trident oil tanks. All of these are useable. None are pristine. Some are better than others. There are dents or a mount repaired. If you need one, I will choose the best one, box it up and ship it to you for $25. The rest go on the scrap heap. Even my hoarder friend won't want these I feel. He's only interested in parts he can make money on, and these ain't them. It's part of his occupation. I don't blame him. Trident fiberglass covers. These are in poor condition. They could be repaired if you are interested in doing the fiberglass work. If you buy a tank, I will include these if you want them. Badges. Both right. Neither in great shape. $5 each Smiths chronometric bezel and glass. Good shape. One very small nick in bezel. $12 ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18777/filename/DSC00660.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18780/filename/DSC00664.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18778/filename/DSC00609.JPG)

More for this trip to the dumpster: AMAL float bowls. All good and reasonably clean. A few have been vapor blasted. $5 ea Aftermarket Lucas tail light housings. New unused. One is polished aluminum, the other is chrome plated. $15 ea Lucas headlight shell. Chrome has Lucas pitting. Otherwise good. $8 Pingle vacuum petcock. Great condition. This came off my Suzuki. Same thread as Harley Davidson. These cost over $100 new. $25 Aftermarket Lucas style tail light. Fits the housings. I had this on one of my bikes and had issues with the bulb socket. Free with housing. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18784/filename/DSC00666.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18785/filename/DSC00667.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18786/filename/DSC00665.JPG)

Last of the parts to go for this run. Dumpster dash middle of next week: Camshafts, used. I haven't inspected too close, but I can. - $8 ea Trident oil tank filters, spigots, plugs. Ceandess (sp?) cap, fits tanks, no dipstick. I will toss these in with a tank. - $10 Trident carb gantries. One early one which I ported for vacuum gauges in my younger days. Which reminds me that I need to dig out those gauges and put them up here also. A later one with through hole for choke lever. This one has a weld repair. - $8 ea Fork sliders. A pair of 1972 BSA/Triumph conical hub. Nice shape, will respond to polish easily. A later disc brake Triumph. Dirty with rusty steel seal holder. - $20 ea for the early ones, - $12 for the later one. - All for $45 More to come after these have vacated the premises. Send me a pm for package deals. Prices are fluid. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18807/filename/DSC00673.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18808/filename/DSC00674.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18809/filename/DSC00675.JPG) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18810/filename/DSC00663.JPG)

I need the dampers and springs for a T120/T140/T150 front fork assembly. They are the only parts I am missing to put a late T150 on 2 wheels with all the 'correct' parts. I have frame brackets, cooler ,sidestand, center stand, chainguard, tank, seat, wheels, brakes, instrument brackets, instruments, ad nauseum. I'm tossing the best parts into a pile. Makes moving a pile of parts around easier, but will require some effort on my part. But I might assemble it anyway. Trades? Send me a PM. Looks kinda like this. Except the fender and taillight are gone and there are forks: ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/18812/filename/DSC00024.JPG)

If Jon doesn’t come up with the springs, I have a set from ‘74 T150 I’d send your way. No internals. I still have your address. I’ll have to confirm they are still here tomorrow. 1/22 update - Struck out. I only have a spare set of fork springs for a '75 Commando. The T150 set must have gone to the scrap yard last year. I have a set of rear Shocks, but I don't think you need those.

Dick, I went to the main garage today and found that the box of springs is in my smaller garage, which is packed tight for the winter, and of course, that box is behind everything else. I will of course be happy to retrieve that box in the spring and measure the springs to see if I have the correct length of T150 springs of 19.5" in length. As a note, the T140 springs are shorter at 19.1" in length.
