Okay, friends; I am posting a string of five of my favorite Youtube music videos (not necessarily my "top" 5, and in no particular order). A friend of mine got me going ALL AFTERNOON the other day when he mentioned a Leonid & Friends concert he recently attended. L&F do the best Chicago (and other) covers, period. So my #1 is:
1- Leonid & Friends - Chicago's "25 or 6 to 4"

2- Danish national Symphony Orchestra's "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly"

3 - Dave Brubeck Quartet "Take Five"

4 - Emerson, Lake & Palmer - "Fanfare for the Common Man"

5 - NY Philharmonic - Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue"

Okay, so I have eclectic taste in music...

When you have an hour to kick back and relax, check out the whole Leonid & Friends playlist...

They are presently touring the US without two of their members who are presently victims of shelling from the Russians. Thankfully, not too serious, but they could just as easily be dead...

I’m listening to Chicago right now. Terry Kath is one of my favorite guitar players. He does an amazing job on 25 or 6 to four. South California Purples is my favorite of Chicago’s. Too bad he’s gone.

I used to hang out in the same bar as Joe about 30 yrs. ago in Ketchum, Idaho. He was a regular in the Sun Valley Lodge house band for a while. I really liked the guy.

Hey Joe was Originally done by The Leaves. Hendrix like everyone else did a cover of the song.

Ok guys; I tried to upload newer bands or old music from other parts of the World but seems that you keep going with the same bands and music styles so I decided to upload kind of newer artist that has great voice but they play throwback stuff; in many songs with a personal touch. However, I think that she does other type of style right now.
Hope you like it.

I’ve never been into Chic bands for some reason with a couple exceptions. I like Heart and Pat Benetar.

The Leaves version holds its own , very Punk , with touchs of The byrds and an outrageous Baseline
here they lip-sync to their hit record , Hey Joe , one year before Hendrix took it a whole different direction .

and in 1962 Niela Miller recorded this folk song
( the melody was later "appropriated" by an ex boyfriend to make Hey joe )
