Yes-- compared with some around the world--- we do not know when we are well off. A Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. And-- as I say to my family when proposing a toast after Thanksgiving dinner----dont forget the real meaning of Thanksgiving-- which is to give thanks for Englishmen coming to the US!

Times were hard for those who sought religious freedom, but they took the risk to try a new life here, in the "new world."
Here, they could make their own decisions, live life, and worship God as they chose. They opened the door for the many that came later.
WE are their legacy. Please never, never forget that.

(confrontational comments about American Indians removed.....) Well, yeah, except for the "white man broke the code" tag line. Maybe something that doesn't judge people by skin color? I'd be Thankful for that ! Lannis

The "code" refers to "weed"..........it's a line from a TV series (one you would never watch) .....nothing to do with abuse of American Indians or skin color........just the ability of the white man to grow better weed. .......so it's a complement. If you see it differently.....that's on you.
