I'm removing the carburetors on my 75 Mk3 for replacement with new Premium Amals. Is it necessary to replace the 06-3458 Heat Insulators with new ones or can the old ones be re-utilized? I don't want an air leak.

I have never changed them.
If missing , I always use them.
1960 on all NHT use them, and never a paper gasket.

Now I need to purchase new heat insulators. What I assumed were existing heat insulators turned out to be 4 paper gaskets sandwiched together with adhesive.

Heat insulators received and installed. Now I just need to re-install the fuel tank and adjust the carbs.
