Great find.
If you are anywhere near the west coast you should be on this like a flea on a monkey.
Reasonable price-- probably get it for $2995!

Long way to go for me. Lannis.
After a bad experience many years ago I only buy what I can see with my own eyes.
It is on the wrong coast for me.
Also I have a big storage problem with sooooo many projects.
The latest of which I am working on now-- a 1971 BSA A75RV.

Also wish that was out east. There was a rust encrusted derelict on marketplace for 3800 a bit ago. I offered 2 provisionally with a question, if the motor turned over, got no answer, it was there for weeks no response. And not one exposed part looked serviceable. Rusty rims, exhaust , bars. This one looks 10 times better

I tell ya, for me is extremely cheap. I even pay international shipping but my problem is the customs here. Not possible to import a used motorcycle
There are only 1 trident in this Country! The other day I talked by phone with one of the owner (and racer) of it. He then fitted the engine to a Norton frame etc to make a Triton; then sold it and the other owner just put it in storage forever.
Came from Aussie land near new by a guy who worked there.
-I mentioned "extremely" due to all cost triple than in USA. With 3500D you cannot buy anything here.

Completely baffling. I'd be all in but it would be 4200 with shipping.
Triples are a bit of a cult IMHO.
People are unaware of their cool factor
Plus I haven't even successfully finished the triple i have

It's a coast away, so I am saved.

Still has the muffler hangers -- amazing. About 52 years ago we installed beauty kits on a few leftover T150Ts ... and the original parts just kind of drifted away ... .

You never know. Sometimes it seems like the whole world is trying to get in on the same thing you want ... but if you're SELLING, it's all like "Ho-hum".

Over the years I've searched the world, with money both in my pocket and in my PayPal, for A65s and A10s and B44s and Commandos and C15s and Guzzis and I don't know what all, and if I found any one of those in this condition with a comparable price, I'd make sure I got it.

Just so happens I'm not looking for a Triple at the moment, and it would be at the back of a very long queue if I DID have it, so I'm not a bidder.

But I must say I'm surprised that the same is true of the other thousand Britbike enthusiasts that have looked at it ....

How rare are the side covers and gas tank trim ? Not that familiar with a 69 models… any known major issues with the early models…

We are apparently worlds apart. With what is available and at that price, side covers and gas tank trim wouldn't even be a question. Of course, that stuff is still available, and or obtainable. Sheesh, I wouldn't care if it wasn't.

Just being able to ride that machine as it is, would be a treat thumbsup

It's cool. Wish I was hip to triples before I started collecting projects.
If it's the distance holding you back, might be surprised at the bids you get on U-ship if you're patient.

Indeed. I seem to recall that someone somewhere makes a pancake air filter setup for the triple if you can't find an original. (Or maybe I'm hallucinating that.) Also, I'd guess one could fabricate a facsimile of the tank trim that would pass from 5~10' until you can find the genuine article.

If it wuz me, I'd get it, and rather than tearing it apart right away, I'd leave it together for now, oil down the motor, clean it up a little, collect parts and knowledge, and collect money, a whole lot of money $$$$$ ... gaze upon it, and remember ... .
