I know nothing about these bikes, but it looks complete and interesting, eg, Ceriani or Betor front end? Title, and, I gather, not running.

I suspect that he's holding the line on the price til someone who "just has to have it" comes along -- just a guess. If it just needs the timing set, he could probably invest a little time or money and do it. Otherwise ... no telling what you'd be getting ... .

Seems high to me. Dented tank, incorrect front mudguard, but nice fork setup.

Yes, the front fender installation is a bodge with U-bolts. Maybe better to use a glass fender like this one from Glass from the Past:
http://gftpstore.com/Rickman-Metisse-Front-Fender-RMNFDRA-RMNFDRA.htm

... or find a fender that would attach to the tabs on the sliders.

Not sure what you’re seeing. Looks like a standard Victor Special battery cover and air filter?????

We had a similar bike on here not to long ago……guy was asking for advice about how much it was worth. Then we had that “ give away priced” SS that nobody wanted. The SS’s owner is associated with “The Voice”……bet he has some interesting campfire stories.

This is a nice bike……I don’t see anything that would make me pay more than $2800 for it….. but that’s just my opinion….worth what you paid for it.
