I am piecing together a 1970 TR6R. I want it to look as authentic as possible.
Does anyone have any good used 1969 and later original "Unified" bolts they no longer need?
I am mainly concerned that the bolt heads are not damaged, as will have them re-plated anyway.

If much of the shank is bare but threads are stripped, that's OK because I will cut the bolt shorter and re-thread it to the specs of a shorter bolt.

Thanks.

You're most likely looking for the "indented circle" type head markings. British tool and fastener mentions that type on their website. Auto repair shops that work on old Jaguars or MG's will probably have some of that type hardware laying around.

Moss motors might be able to help too. Here's a link.

Funny you should post this today. Not one hour ago I was at my shop going through my 5 gallon bucket of misc. British hardware, sorting and cleaning in preparation for sending a batch out for plating. Can you PM me the sizes and quantities you're after and I'll see what I have?
