I am getting a load of nuts, bolts and small parts ready to re-plate.

Some months ago, I remember a post with information on a plater that did cadmium, and also heat-treated the finished bolts to stress-relieve them.

Does anyone have the name and address of that plater?

I have used Billmark Plating in Haltom City TX, they typically have turned my parts around in ~2wks. I do however ship hardware in batches, the chassis as one and the engine as the other along with taking photos of the hardware shipped so there is a comparison of what was returned just incase something didn't make it back into the box.

Thanks, BUT will they do the heat treating to relieve the stress of hydrogen embrittlement caused by cadmium plating?

I had a large pile of Fasteners cad plated a number of years thru Don Hutchinson. I don’t remember the cost but the quality was excellent. Turn around was reasonable.

Quality Plating in Salt Lake City has done my cadmium plating for the last 20 years. They do excellent work.
