Hi all,
Could anyone please give me the dimensions of the A65 Clutch Adaptor piece 68-3263, as shown in the attached image, item 33.
I’d like to know the two outside diameters, the inside diameter of the bore and the total length.
Can’t find this part in stock anywhere, so I’m hoping to be able to make one myself if I can get hold of the dimensions.
Thanks,
Kev E

[quote=The Bonneville Shop]Hi Kev, I fettled a Triumph clutch cable abutment spacer to fit with very little effort. There are (2) lengths of this split ferrule available, one is 15/32" long, and the other is 15/16". Hope this helps. -Dave
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I don’t know what length I need and the length is just one of four dimensions that make up this part.

If this bike is stock and original, you will need the BSA 68-3263 clutch cable adapter, which is almost identical to the Triumph 57-2062 short cable abutment. The critical factor is the free length of your clutch cable. -Dave

If you are making one, assemble the cable on the lever and clutch lifter. With the lever adjuster at its shortest, push the casing against it and measure the distance from the clutch end to the case. That is the recess to end length. The cable ferrule is the additional length from the recess. The diameter of the hole in the case is the small end. The diameter around the cable ferrule is pretty much optional.
