Had the green light lazer years ago. Was great, except we learned that I was allergic to the latex catheter they put in me. Sounds like your hospital is doing everything they can to encourage you to get well and get out of there!

Great to see you checking in John. I'm sure you'll knock the brain pox and prostate pox for six. Maybe for the US I should "out of the park"?

All the best.

THank you for the note!!!
Physical therapy brings me to my happy place. PT, Chris can read me like a book. He is able to know when He is pushing me to hard. Others think Iam pushing my self to hard. From a coma to almost walking 20+ feet without walker or came in four months.
As a side effect of Herpies encephalitis is bouts of recall. Recalling a lot of motorcycle stuff. Still monitoring Britbike.com. Daily.
Thank to all of you British bike enthusiast for your support. Big thank you to Jay Mederois. Jay is still dedicated to putting his workshop back together and getting all of jobs in house. The insurance refused the claim.

So great to hear John. I was digging through parts in my garage the other day, found one with your name and Coventry Spares on it. Keep up the good work, we’re all rooting for you.

Glad to hear you are on the mend.........personally I think you are just like our Triumphs, needed some TLC plus a freshen up. New bearings, pistons and rings, an appropriate 'run in' period then your like new again....but still a classic!!!

Good on you John, keep fighting!
I was in a four-bed ward once after I broke my ankle. The guy across from me had gotten drunk and tried to ride a horse. The horse fell on him. Every four hours the nurse would bring him a shot of whiskey, as he was an alcoholic. He hated that, said, "dammit I drink Beer!" At least he didn't scream at night.
Stay strong John.

Hey John Healy,
I have never posted before, but I have been riding my '55 T110 for 45 years; reading your advice for over 20 years. I sat in on one of your tech sessions at Jefferson some years ago. Once you sent me a Black Diamond valve you said would fit my oversized intake that had a notch in the departed valve - it worked.

We struggle with this mortal coil, but as we are able, we get to it every day and run with the wind we have left. Some days it's in our face, some days it's at our back. My wish goes out for your continued recovery and may the good wind carry you forward in recovered health and good fortune.

Keep the faith John. Thanks for all you did for me and my business JRC. You took a green competitor and educated me to be successful. That included numerous trips to the UK and introductions to the who's who of British motorcycling. Recall the discussion with LF in our hotel room when he offered you an exclusive and you directed his attention to me as well. Or the times we spent driving at very high speed around the Midlands seeing various vendors. Or the time we asked for a "cot" and got a baby crib. Your response was "Getty your the youngest so it's yours". You have always been there to fall back on for me and for the vast Triumph fraternity. You seemed to know everyone in the UK that had anything to do with these lovely machines. I treasure the many industry stories you shared and the wonderful magazine you produced for the TIOC. I am earnestly praying for your full recovery my long time friend and competitor. You once said that you were pleased to have a counterpart on the west coast and I must say we have had a great run. Get better and I will take you on the 7 ghost town tour again. I hear Saline Valley hot springs is lovely this time of year. I have been privileged to have you as a friend.
