Yup.........and I "think" richrd was the only one to catch it.

This is either the second or third ride......not really sure. But it is our first group photo.

[Linked Image]

Look at that smile on Mike Carter's RIP face.........I swear no matter how hard it rained.....he still had that smile.

I think at the first ride.......we had 7 riders.

2007 Group. Mr Ben is off with a couple of riders climbing the rocks. I'm pretty sure we had a larger group at another ride but not by much.

We quit going through Damascus because the ride's timing conflicted with the Trails Day's Parade.

I'm already making plans for next year. I'm wanting to ride my loop.......I'll take modern so the need for a chase will be less. I'd like to start at the campground and go through Damascus so I can wave at the all the pretty people......I love that place, tree hugers and all.

There's going to be a crowd ( happens when you don't try to surprise people with you attending) next year and I'm pretty sure I won't be missed along the new route.......but for ole times sake.....I want to do my Ramble. That return on 321 and 67 should make the home run go faster. At least faster than 60+ miles of the Parkway.

No sir........Not sure what happened to that first banner. But once Morgan updated the web site (a BIG problem at the time) he also changed the logo. Dennis made the one you have. There is another one out there that I sent to Rich and Ron for Mid-Ohio when I walked away and there's a good chance it's the first one.

I've pretty much tossed everything......except for the "rack" I made up for your banner. Takes a bit to set up but I was proud of the way it turned out.

I'd be more than happy to set it up for you next year.......and leave it with you.

richrd mentioned "no new faces" to me. I have some ideas about "why" and will do my best to help with that next year. The past couple of years you're lucky you had anyone there........that stuff wasn't anyone's fault.

Pretty sure that's the second year. First year, John French rode a Velocette, which had clip-ons and had him standing on his head going down the Goat Path.

Second year, John rode a BMW /2, and I think I see the rear end of it at the right of the photo. Third year, he rode an MV Agusta 175 .....

Well, nothing to talk about since I weren't there.....but I do recognize the old pictures. June 2nd, into the cardiac unit to take an intimate look at the actual state of my arterial plumbing. I'm going to suggest a #78 drill bit, I know they work....

But that will only allow you to idle properly. Only idling will kill all us old guys. laughing

So........................how's everyone feeling?

I tested positive again yesterday. No energy and feel like I'm in a fog.

Got a leaking toilet giving me grief and HVAC troubles......can't say I'm handling it very well.

OH.......and hurt my back lifting the toilet.

Can't win for loosing.

On a high note...................wait...............there ain't no high note.

Very true. I'm idling just fine. It's the needle and main jets that are the problem!

Seizing up at speed because the main jet is blocked and you're running way lean has been the cause of a lot of seizures and broken cases....

You're still on the right side of the grass, thats a good thing.

When I had it last fall it took me about a month before I was 100%. Exactly like you say, fine one day and feeling like you been dragged through a keyhole the next. It helps if you have something good (like the TSMR) to look forward to. I tested positive and stayed out of work for the required 10 days. Never retested cause you couldn't get the home tests at that time

My brother in law had a rough case of Covid a few weeks back. Dr. gave him paxlovid, which worked well for him. Knocked it out in a couple of days.

I only have one home test left, but I feel fine.
I blame it on Buster, I 'm the only one who didn't pet or feed him.
