I've had an old Sears oiless air compressor in the shop for decades it seems, but needed it elsewhere. So I treated myself to a new small compressor. I read about the California Air Tools ultra quiet compressors, so I ordered one (4610AC). All I can say is Wow! It is so quiet, it sounds more like a small fish tank pump. I no longer have to shout over the compressor while it is on, or hear it when in the house 100 ft away. The new compressor fills up really quickly and is only 40 lbs, so I can move it around as needed. Obviously, I don't have any connection with them, but just wanted to let anyone know that if you're looking for a new compressor, these things are so quiet it's is amazing.

I have the same compressor ..great for for small jobs and no need to use the larger 240 volt shop compressor... Has limited air supply but does develop 120 psi..
