Could be bad ... you know how it is with these guys.

They'll all be in full leathers, with bikes tuned right to the edge. The whole group will take off and disappear into the distance, engines revving to the limit. All you'll see will be the marks on the road from footpegs and sidestands scraping and throwing sparks.

When you catch up at the first gas stop, they'll be finishing up their hot dog and Coke and halfway through their second cigarette, getting ready to pull their helmets back on, and you'll hear a cheery chorus of "Something wrong with your bike?" "What took you so long?" "Let's have a look at his chicken strips ... man, they're two inches wide!" and off they'll go, as you frantically try to pump some gas and get back on the road.

It's terrible. I don't know what to do with them, been like this since 2000 .....

At least for the 2010 ride it was split into two groups, fast & not so fast.

One thing i am thinking of is a trip to wheels through time in maggie valley. It is a 250 mile round trip and wondering if we should do it on Thursday or Friday. I would prefer Thursday but this will depend on when the ones from across the pond arrive and IF they want to go but IMHO if you are this close it is a must see like the barbour museum. On another note i am going to look into getting the BB Q from the place we went for the 10th year again i feel it is a little better Q .

I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re looking at 10 grand + quotes.

I just had my 43+ year old system replaced……very little duct work and the “friend” discount and it still cost 7 grand.

It’s only money and if for nothing else the humidity at your place is over the top some mornings.

Bad thing is…….this new system I just got won’t last as long as the old one.

I had to go through about 3 vendors when I was building my house to find an HVAC guy that would work with me.

We had an unusual job (which I'm sure yours is too) where we could not just run ductwork anywhere we wanted to .... it had to be routed in the tops of cabinets and closets and above a dropped ceiling. The first 3 vendors were like "Naw, naw, son, we're going to have run the ducts HERE and HERE and over THERE ...." and I had to tell them to walk away and I'd find another guy. Finally did .... but even so, you're looking at $7500 per heat pump at least .....

Nope……..they didn’t want to do it. But if you would have said yes that price would have made it worthwhile.

Keep looking there’s someone out there who is reasonable.
