Me and the better half went to lukes cafe today. She had the mushroom nurger and i had the ruben, all i can say is both of them was fantastic. There is plenty of parking but it is a little small. I would highly recommend it.

I guess I deserve that…..I really hate getting my photo taken.
That hat……take a close look at the second photo. It’s pretty new in that pic. Ron Thompson bought that for me back during our hay days at Mid-Ohio. Compare it to the 3rd photo….. my absolute favorite motorcycle hat. I’ll have it on this year too.

Re: You with the young folks two posts up ....
In terms of "character", or "would I hang out with this person" or "would I hire this young guy or gal ..."
I don't have to know any more about them than they are willing to come out, hang out with some old folks because it's supporting Dad, and do a thankless job like 'traffic control' or "sag wagon support" just because it needs to be done, and do it with a smile.
I hope they're all doing well these days!

Lannis……Booth and I were talking about the ride last weekend. He attended EVERY one I attended…..only stopped when I did.
At the first couple where I drove a ranger without a trailer he had to get up on the seat so he could look over the dash to see the bikes in front.
They are all doing well. Booth is a paralegal working in Asheville and Barbara is a web designer and mom working from home. The other young fellow (Corbin) is an accomplished blue grass musician and could do that for a living......but I'm not sure what he's up to now a days.
Thank you for saying that…….I’m proud of them all.
Your family has been a BIG part of it ALL too……you’re blessed.

Wonder what it would take for Morgan to replace the 10th anniversary pin with the 25th?????
If he’ll tell us what kind of file it needs to be I can ask my pin supplier for it?
Be nice to update IMO. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/19015/filename/Q13357 Three State Mountain Ride 25th CLIENT 020223.jpg) YOU GOT MAIL broder!!!!!!!!!!

Jeez Rich! Is that a high school picture of you?? That is an early photo........he cleaned up nice back then. Here's one in the spirit of it all........scan of the original photo taken by Craig Holder.......the next year he turned it into a poster. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/19069/filename/MorganBeer.jpg) Someone had mentioned it in another thread. Interesting…..thats the only BSA twin I ever owned….an A50….sold it to Mike Carter for $2500. The tents in the background belong to Mr Ben and Craig.

If you want people under 60 to show up you'd need better WIFI and pizza delivery. But those AT hikers don't seem to mind.
Keep your head up and your stick on the ice.

Just 2 1/2 months to go. Things started off with a bang when some of our UK friends were planning on attending. That just isn’t going to happen but we are still planning on a week long celebration of the TSMR. Home base will be Windy’s campground in Shady Valley TN.
Take this as an open invitation for YOU to join us. There will be daily rides and the area has some fantastic motorcycle roads. Main ride will be on Saturday. Several of us plan on spending the entire week. IF you’re interested in attending and need information about the area and what it has to offer….just speak up we’ll be happy to help.
We’d really like to see some new faces……here’s your chance to meet some members face to face.
to be continued

Just the kinda guy I am.......that's Walmart's 2nd cheapest tent. Steve Erickson bested me on that claim to fame......with picking up and using the cheapest. You can't hide money. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/19288/filename/Camp 005.jpg) Windy's campground in Shady Valley TN.......that tree has grown since that photo was taken. Windy will have to help me here.......is that the same tree on the right of this photo taken last year????? ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/19291/filename/IMG_0049.JPG) THANKS WINDY!!!! ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/19295/filename/CFC5DB5B-1C59-4978-A427-57BB53DE0890.jpeg) ![[Linked Image]](https://www.britbike.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/19296/filename/Camp017.jpg) That's Chowda Rock!!!

..."bested me on that claim"...
Well, yeah G-Money, yours was the cheapest adult tent... mine was a child's. 5.5' diagonally sleeping didn't work all that well for a 6' frame. But damn, the price was right!
