It was a blue sky, light wind, but very cold morning here in dear old blighty, the perfect conditions for a mooch around the rust and assorted motorcycle paraphernalia at Kempton park, for the April Bike Jumble... So settle back with a tea, coffee, or maybe a beer, as I show you what caught my eye, and lens. first picture from the car park a 70's AMF Shovelhead, that I have given a period film style just for the fun of it ![[Linked Image from kevindean.zenfolio.com]](https://kevindean.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p676853830-5.jpg) Ok then we are in and this 1928 Triumph caught my eye, as original as they get, and hidden away since the 70's ![[Linked Image from kevindean.zenfolio.com]](https://kevindean.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p691677762-5.jpg) A nice old Levis. ![[Linked Image from kevindean.zenfolio.com]](https://kevindean.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p578695944-5.jpg) Norton International and Francis Barnet. ![[Linked Image from kevindean.zenfolio.com]](https://kevindean.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p744121743-5.jpg) ![[Linked Image from kevindean.zenfolio.com]](https://kevindean.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p741276443-5.jpg) ![[Linked Image from kevindean.zenfolio.com]](https://kevindean.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p1065996103-5.jpg) And here is a nice little 125cc Moto Guzzi "Scrambler" ![[Linked Image from kevindean.zenfolio.com]](https://kevindean.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p688080203-5.jpg)

Kev lad, you missed that wonderfully worn out old BSA B31 in the car park, the tank was so worn that the chrome was missing around where your legs would go, and the Copper plating was showing.... The sort of bike you just KNOW the lad who owns it rides it all the time everywhere, and it would start with a breath, not one drop of oil was coming out of it anywhere, best bike in that car park in my opinion... As for the jumble, I bought bugger all, not one washer, nothing.... Couldn't even get a battery at a sensible price, so here I sit, once again searching on the buttons. Had a nice ham egg & chip lunch at the Wetherspoons in Leatherhead, so that went down well with our cheap beer they sell there....

Hy Kevin Thanks for the pics. Always interesting to see what is going on in England. Remember well being at Kempton Park back in the day... We will have our own local swap meet in about two weeks at Brokstedt, about 50 km north of Hamburg. Will have a stall with two Yamaha XT 500 that i have rebuild the last few months. The swap meet is always the place to meet old buddy's with greasy fingers and oil in the vines. Would be nice to see you in Belgium at the BSA Rally. Think about it. You are welcome even if you are not on a BSA, just saying.. Take care of you. Cheers Dieter

Too bad I'm in the USA.
I would have enjoyed that meet.

Looks like a great day out- plenty to like in that bunch of pix, Kev. We'll have the AMCA meet at Oley soon enough. I'll be shooting film and will post pix of that eventually.
I'd love to have a pre unit triumph and a period pre unit bobber would do nicely thanks. I wouldn't mind an A10 somewhere down the line either, for that matter. I mean while I'm wishin', dontcha know.

Humble the A10 may be, but a fine ride just the same.

Mate of mine had an MZ like that. “Interesting” concept, so ugly that only it’s mum could love it but very reliable.
