Around here, The Harley riders say "Loud pipes save lives!"
But if so, wouldn't your insurance rate be lowered when you cut the mufflers off?

Loud piped do nothing but make non motorcyclist angry The sound is mostly behind you and the troubsl always comes from the front or side Angry people support politicans who propose ant-motorcycle legislation IT is a loose loose situation

What I have always wondered is if the "loud pipes saves lives crowd" are happy to be woken up at three a.m. by that idiot that feels it is a great time for him to do a tune up. (For the fourth time this week).......Oh, I see now, it's just fine if he wants to did it, but not me if I want to, eh? I guess it is rude to wake Mr. Loud Pipes when HE chooses to sleep.
