The rear loop Top secret!

I'm using it as a rack. My plan was to use it to get firewood while camping, and it worked really well for that. It came in the box of parts but I don't think it came off this bike. I knew it might look a little funny...

Clay......we'd need a closer look but I'm pretty sure it's goes with the bike......but maybe we'd need another thread? Unit Single rear fender loop? Posted to the BSA board? I think it's the rear fender's that's either not stock or has been modified?

60's ( Asian) rear racks can be adapted pretty easily.

You got a couple of flat bars maybe 3" (ish) with a hole in each end in your spares?

Here you go - my BSA 250 C10 L. It is in need of restoring only as a survivor. I picked this up down South of Western Australia. Once all is done and dusted (restored) I will be riding it in the IHC Indian & Harley Vintage club, at their side valves events-bush track rides, etc.

Do you wear the uniform while riding the bike? Very evocative photos; I like it.

I had a NOS Starfire tank and loved that Orange and Bronze combo so had it clear coated and carried that theme through the guards and 650 transfer. Had a Colorado Norton Works front guard which looked cool, strengthened it around the bolt holes and built a stainless bracket. Has T140 disc front end and matching gauges. Handle bars were the subject of a discussion on the Hornet page recently and have the cable guides. Rear X75 Borrani rim left over from Hurricane resto's. I think the only substantial item I had to buy was the front Excel rim.

Here's mine . I've sold my Ariel , matchless and B44 but kept these two and my Ducati .

My 67 West Coast Hornet I restored a few years ago. The ET ignition caused me huge grief and I ended up replacing it with capacitor discharge and tiny Lithium battery.. It now starts first kick and pulls very strongly. Must be all that compression!

And a 1966 East Coast Hornet that I got a young friend of mine to help me restore last year. It got him hooked on bikes which is great. The colour of these images doesn't do it justice. Mandarin Red.

I have just started the dry build of a 71 R3 Grey frame. I have had it for 10 years and had the engine completed for 5 years. Engine has lightened crank, Beadling 850 kit, Carillo rods, Madigan starter, 5 speed box and a slick head from Charlie Barnes with Mikuni's. Very exciting!

Don't the new Girling discs look hot! Mating them with Brembo calipers.

Here's a partial pic of my 66 A65T Thunderbolt in Blue. As seen in pretty darn good company at Gordon's Beach Run back in March of this year (2022).
This bvike was nearby and I'd been keeping an eye out for a BSA when this came up on F B market place... really crappy phone pix at first but when he posted better pix, I was on it. Mostly original, only thing done to it was (I THINK) some rewiring and maybe also a Boyer added.
