Hi All,
My ebay suggested items threw up this Gold Star Taylor Dow rocker oil feed manifold a few days ago
I had bought one at Stafford show a couple of years ago including the original Fasteners and at the time wondered if I was "mad" to pay £25 for it
The ebay auction was at £41 bid so I put a "watch" on it just out of interest
Youch !! it made £210
I can see there were two last second bids ? but its a case of if you id you have to pay

I would LOVE to have one of those Emgo/Dow oil feed manifolds. But maybe not that much.

Personally, it wouldn't be worth that much to me, though I do like the manifold concept..so I bought an SRM one, which fitted and worked flawlessly, though granted, it didn't have the patina of a period item.

I can add patina!

The worst thing about the SRM manifold is the gaudy lines and graphics. Otherwise, it looks fine, and I am going to order one. I will add patina, but with a file and a grinder.

Except they no longer make pre-unit oil manifolds.

Oh well, back to eBay..

The oil manifold and tachometer drive on my Competition Gold Star broke while NYBSAGUY was riding it on his last visit here. If that wasn't enough, shortly after he returned home a global pandemic erupted, with New York as an initial hotspot. Need I say more? Anyway, I happened to have a Webco manifold so it was faster to just install it rather than repair the stock item.
