Anyone with an original set of DAY gearbox cases? Was wondering if the cases are normal 67-3345 or if they are re-stamped 42-3084 as the RRT and RRT2 boxes are? When did this re-stamping start? Is it on early RR boxes also?

Lots of questions...I'm sure I will get some knowledgeable answers. If you think your RR, RRT RRT2 box is original - do you have that stamp?

Regards,
Dave

Here is an RRT2 gearbox case (assuming my image works) I assume that RRT gearboxes were similarly stamped? How about earlier RR and/or DAY cases?
Building up a DAY gearbox and just wondering which case is the most correct...or not sweat it?

Well....that image didn’t work!
