Hi All -

Thought I’d start a thread on this. I’ve got a weekend in Oct that I’ll be tied up (not sure which one just yet), but let’s get a conversation going…..

Who’s in ? When?

Cheers,

Steve

If the good Lord is willing and the creek don’t rise I’ll be there. It’s my favorite get together. You really couldn’t ask for a better set up. The motel is perfect and doesn’t cost an arm or leg. The roads………the lunch stop…….the people.

Not sure what I’ll be riding up there on but the ride up is fantastic…..my route is two lane pretty much the whole way….perfect for my style (slow) kind of riding.

I love it when you wake up in the morning and the only thing that is familiar to you is the motorcycle…….it makes the rest of the day that much more of an adventure.

early September is probably the best time, maybe the weekend of the 11th? I'll have to check with the motel and see if they're still in operation.

One State Mountain Ride.. A guided group ride hosted by MikeG.

Coudersport, Pa area. North Western part of the state.

Group stays at local motel…very clean and reasonable rates. ( Laurelwood)

Ride loop is around 200 miles with gas and lunch stop.

Nice roads with little traffic.

Gordon.

Don't know, but it certainly wouldn't hurt if you did. I should do the same.

Who’s bringing the dancing girls?

I don’t remember a time when we were all on the same side but it’s a small enough place it never was a problem. I think I’ve stayed in the same room every time. They put those Northern hooligans in the unit completely separate from the part I stayed in.

Can’t hurt to mention you’re part of a group.

I won’t have my rig ready by then…just to many other things got in the way. I still want to ride and not trailer but my options are narrowing down.

Gordon.

My plan was to slyly find out what Gordon's route North was going to be (it couldn't be far from me in any case), and be waiting on the side of the road on a twin as his single putted by, and just take off and follow him when he rode by ... but alas (well, not really "alas" in a complete sense since I will be at the beach that week with my grandchildren, but "alas" for the sake of a Britbike ride) it was not to be.

Lannis

Lannis, I take a really lazy route up........99% two lanes. It passes through some beautiful country and wonderful small towns. Your Norton is what you need for the OSMR but your M20 would be a better fit for me and a single. They don't call me Pokey for nothing. I'm pretty much resigned to ride alone anyway......that is unless Bryan and Marie come back and I swear I'd follow them anywhere. That said, you are one of the few folks I know that CAN ride fast but CAN ride slow too.......and enjoy it. Good on ya for that my friend.

One of these days........Gordon in NC

I got the ceegars covered Richard. They never did put us in any one spot as Gordon pointed out but we always seem to find one room to congregate at and leave a pile of empty beer bottles. Looking forward to this as I have not been on any kind of BB adventure since 2019.

Good enough to use a roach clip!

OK my case of CRS is now confirmed....forgot all about last Augusts trip to TWO blush (Sorry Gordon) but I'm still behind on 2 TSMR's and a York PA swap meet.
