There is a wonderful list compiled by a now defunct company called Stainless Fasteners that shows the fastener size & thread form by BSA / Triumph part number .
As a pdf PDF
As a spreadsheet

As Trevor rightly says the company that originally compiled the list is now no more.
However the listing has been taken on by Greg Marsh and is being continually updated/corrected/ added to.
Dont have the link to hand but if Kommando reads this I know he has the link to hand.

OK Tridentman (thanks) but the first nut I was looking for has the wrong size in the list:

42-3267 Triumph - BSA NUT BSC (CEI) 9/16"-20 MAINSHAFT A10 4 SPRING MDLS 3/23/2016 12:09:18 AM

This nut is really 5/8"- 20 (and not 9/16")

So its a bit pitty that the list is incorrect wink

You can help the next guy facing your problem--- I think the Greg Marsh site has the facility to correct data.

I printed a paper copy a decades ago and yes there are some errors & omissions
So I did a second one one sided so I could make corrections
Good to see Greg has taken up the cause and even better by making it a wikki
Down side is some one will have a franken bike nd change the right info for what was on their bike
