as usual the 2022 TSMR will be the week end after mothers day. it falls on may 13-14 and as usual early birds are welcome. unless something changes it will be just like the 2021 ride.

I happened to look at my "Google Timeline" today. It showed most of our ride. I'll have to call you for details.

tomoil, all the info you need can be found in the old threads, with the change that we no longer ride out of the motel in Blowing Rock. Most of us camp at Windy;s with some staying at the Americourt {?} inn in mountain city. the ride on the 14th is just a one day 200 mile, but most of us {again} feel that it's too far to go for one day so we start showing up around Monday thru Wedsnday to look for new roads and smoke cigars around the campfire. that is if Windy has any fire wood.

The older I get, the more it feels like the morning after.

Peach? You know, the peach crop this year was extremely good. So good, in fact, that I might be tempted also. Just sayin'

I’ll bring my Firebird (with a new clutch cable), and my ‘82 Electro on the trailer as a spare in the event someone needs a bike to ride…

I advise anyone that buys a used bike to ALWAYS replace at minimum the clutch and brake cables or all the cables if you have the extra dosh, it is just cheap insurance on a high failure item,

see you in may,

I'll be there for sure.
Don't know if I'll make the entire ride this year, I was worn out by the first stop last year.

I’m planning on being there. At this time I actually plan on attending as a rider for the first time. (after 20+years) I’ll gladly lead/join a group that would rather see the sights/scenery instead of having to constantly focus on tail lights and blacktop for 200 miles.

Watch me end up on the chase truck……that would be appropriate.
