I don't remember either. The bike was stripped down and parts put in different places. Those alloy wheels are hanging in the shop so I see them every time I'm in there. I've got all that info written down...somewhere just to lazy to go look it up..but I "think" I got two from you???? One was the bike with alloy wheels and the other was a B50 with a Asian front end???? Man now that you mention it.........it was a LONG time ago!!!!!!

I saw photos of the Goldie tank........absolutely beautiful........just a bit out of my comfort zone. If I spent that much on a tank it would have to live under my bed. Guess that's what garage queens are made of? But I'd still LOVE to have it and haven't really given up on it yet.......just dragging my feet so someone else will get it and put me out of my misery.

wow. a beaut. but i dont need one that nice. i wont even ask you whats out of your comfort zone.

i think you came twice. once to pick up a B50 at my friends garage and the other time to gather up some parts from a shop i had.
i recall because i didnt have the correct piston and eventually i did send you one.
i cant recall if the bike had alloys.

Hey Hunter,

When Ross Thomson was still with us a restored Gold Star tank by him would cost $600 to $800 to repair and then, at least the last one I had him do several years ago, it cost $550 to chrome. Add another $200 to $300 for shipping, you're paying for
shipping two ways, you're looking at a $1350 to $1650 tank. And that's after you aquired the tank. So I'd say $1200 is a fair deal.
