Its the width of the shoes with the A65 being wider but can't remember the sizes.

So, the wheel is on my bike, the overall drum width is two inches assuming the backing plate flange extends an 1/8 inch or so over the drum. Looking at the round cutouts the drum appears to be about 3/16 thickness...It does have three fins...So I can assume this is a A65 piece, 1.62 shoes?
Edit, looking at Ebay and the Dragonfly parts catalog online I think only the A65 single side brake drum has the holes in the drum and the fins...

Early dual carb A65's (64. 65) used the 1½" wide half width brake as well.

Starting in 66, they went to 1.625". B44's used this brake in 68, 69, & 70.

Fully float the shoes, it makes the brake actually work.

The brake is much improved after ramming the bike on back roads...I took a short cut on the primary inner cover installation, leaking oil like a torpedoed tanker. The bike will go under the knife tomorrow , a good time to modify the brake
