I only know him through his DVD's but I couldn't have restored 4 Commandos without them.

A really nice bloke, a great racer and a good laugh.
All the best Mick.

I spent a great afternoon with Mick two weeks ago, can't believe he has gone, a great bloke. He will be sadly missed. Thoughts are with Angie.

Evidently Mick manage two spirited laps of Silverstone circuit in a private ambulance after he had passed away. At the wheel was his best friend Tim Abbot and also aboard were his son Steve and his great pal Keith Huewen whilst his wife Angie looked on, happy that one of his wishes would be fulfilled.

I understand that this was a reciprocal arrangement between him a his chauffeur Tim that was agreed many moons ago.

Thanks for posting that link BeezaBryan; a very enjoyable article/interview with the man himself.
Men like Mick are icons of an era that seems to be rapidly disappearing.

Godspeed Mick, in the world of Triumph/Norton, your legacy is secure.
