Hello all,
Did the G80CS or 18CS short stroke engine ever have the magneto mounted behind the cylinder,below the intake?

No - the magneto was moved out the front a few years before the short strokes even appeared.
And the Ajays always had it out front.

Presumably enough enough earlier years bits could accomplish this.
