Can anyone tell me how the brackets for the battery hold down are supposed to go? When i purchased the bike it had two brackets in the battery box and the strap was broken. I am not sure if it uses both of the brackets. I have attached a picture of the brackets and the battery area. Thank for any information. Russ

Left bracket is for oif.

Right bracket is for late pre oif.

Thread the strap though at both ends so that it is sufficient enough so it doesn’t pull off. And adjust the length to suit the battery. The hook end hooks on to the folded back piece of the battery carrier.

Afraid I don’t have any photos at present.
