Does anyone know why there are so many holes for the wiring in a dommie featherbed headlamp shell.
This is the one with the underslung pilot light underneath.
(the pilot light segment is not fitted in this pic)
And the ammeter and headlamp switch are up in the instrument panel.
The speedo is also in the instrument shell up on the handlebars.
I'd wondered it the wiring loom came in - for the headlamp and pilot light only -
- and then came out again the other 'ole for the wiring for the speedo, ammeter and switch.
But then what is that 3rd smaller hole for ??
The speedo is not in the shell, so that rules that out.
I've studied the wiring diagram - but not actually seen a 'proper' loom, I was just going to make
up something to suit - but pondered all these holes ??
The top of this shell is at the top.

This is the biggest image I could find online - and it shows about nothing !
There is a lot of wiring and cables around that steering head vicinity.
