Brilliant rider, one of the real greats.

I well remember him racing at Mallory Park riding his A65 outfit.
He I think I remember had BSA works backing and there was always great rivalry between him and the two big Birmingham families who raced outfits---father Bill and son Mick Boddice and father "Fatty" Hanks and his two sons. None of these got official BSA works backing but got stuff from the Small Heath factory "over the wall".
Chris Vincent was exceptional--like all great riders, solo or sidecar, his style was so smooth--he made it look easy (when of course it was anything but easy).

I do recall Chris Vincent owning a Triumph Bandit or BSA Fury that he generously allowed magazines to road test.
